Faculty and Classes
Teachers are selected for their love and concern for children. They are qualified through education, training, experience and specialized skills to work with preschool children. In the interest of a productive learning environment, our classes are limited in size. The Day School accepts and welcomes children of all races, color and creeds.

Hours
The Day School is in session Monday through Friday from 8:45am until 11:45am, September through May, following the Richardson ISD calendar. An optional extended day is available from 11:45am until 2:00pm. For more information on our extended program, visit our POW-WOW page.
---------------------------------------------------
Age Requirement
To be eligible for enrollment, a child must be the designated age as of September 1st of the current school year. Day School classes begin for children who are 2 1/2 years old.
---------------------------------------------------
Curriculum
The curriculum is designed around thematic units to help each child gain self-confidence, independence and an awareness of our world. The experiences provided are based on knowledge of the child's physical, social, emotional and intellectual developmental needs. The curriculum includes large and small muscle activities, art, music, science, pre-math and pre-reading activities, language and listening skills, problem solving, and social interaction.
---------------------------------------------------
Field Trips
Field trips take the learning arena to the outside world. Visits to the farm, post office, park, grocery store and hospital add value and relevance to the classroom curriculum. The number of trips will vary by age group.
---------------------------------------------------
Parent Involvement
Parent involvement and participation in the Day School are encouraged and are an important component of our program. Parents are welcome to visit the classes during the day and perhaps share a talent or hobby. Parents are given the opportunity to sign up as monthly helpers to provide special snacks and holiday parties. We also rely on parental assistance on field trips.
